Parents Over Party is a space for Sarasota public-school parents to understand what’s happening with our schools, decide what matters to their families, and have a meaningful voice in what comes next.
We’re making it a little easier to use it. We’re asking current Sarasota County public-school parents what matters most to their families in the 2026–27 school year.
We’re not asking you to attend a school board meeting or turn into an activist. We’re not asking anything that will take you away from what matters most: your children – and your spare time.
Parents are experts – and we have more power in our public schools than many of us realize.
So we’re not really asking much at all – and definitely not all at once. We’re just making it easier to learn about the issues impacting your children, share what you think about it, and participate when it makes sense for you.
Because you shouldn’t have to become an expert in public education to have a say in it.
