But you can renew it.

Per Florida law, the ability to vote by mail expires after every election…and that means you currently cannot vote by mail in the next election.

Luckily, our amazing Supervisor of Elections is making it easy for us to renew our requests:

 To continue voting by mail, submit your renewal request in one of the following ways:

• Online: Visit SarasotaVotes.gov/VoteByMail
• By mail: Send your completed request form to P.O. Box 4194, Sarasota, FL 34230
• By phone: Call 941.861.8618 and a staff member will assist you
• By fax: Fax your completed request form to 941.861.8617
• In person: Drop off your completed request form at the Sarasota, Venice or North Port elections office

Once it’s done, you will be able to vote by mail through December 31, 2026.

It feels so far away, but as we know, the texts/messages/emails/calls/etc will be hitting us again soon. So conjure up your power now and be in control of when, where, and how you vote.
